Both papers are completed in one three-hour Computer-Based Test without a break. Each correct answer carries two marks, and the current scheme does not apply negative marking.

Begin with Units 1 and 3. Fundamentals and Environmental Biology build the vocabulary used across ecology, pollution, conservation and contemporary issues.
Move to Units 2, 4, 5, 6 and 9. These contain chemistry, geosciences, energy, pollution and statistics, including several numerical areas.
